Transfer Probability : 3/5

Just one day after the final of the Euro 2016, rumours of Paul Pogba to United seem to have hit an all time high, this could very well be to the displeasure of the man himself after losing to Portugal in the final yesterday evening, but here we are.

Now, it isn’t a secret that both Manchester United and Real Madrid were interested in the French playmaker, however, according to Sky Sports, the latter have pulled out of the race thanks to the financial competition given by United.

Apparently, a bid of a record breaking £100 million (£85m + bonuses etc.) is required to bring the frenchman back to the Premier League along with an agent fee of about €25 million for Mino Raiola, reports say that the latter is one of the primary reasons Real Madrid pulled out of the race to sign the youngster.

Ed Woodward is expected to fly in to Turin in about a week or two, to finalise the deal and we could see Pogba in a red shirt again by the team the team travel to Shanghai for their Pre Season tour. There are also reports that say that personal terms have been agreed, but till it’s not put on paper, nothing is really true. As for Real Madrid, they seem to have shifted their focus to Valencia’s Andre Gomes.

Finally, according to Bleacher Report, there are rumours that a total of 8 players could be sold to make room and compensate for the funds spent on Pogba. Its quite safe to say that Jose Mourinho would not really be a forgiving manager, not for this season at least.

I’ll be doing an opinion based article on Pogba in the next few days so be sure to watch out for that, and apologies again for irregular posting, hopefully, won’t happen a lot
